Community Power Panel
Our purpose is powering a cleaner and brighter future for our community.
A secure and resilient power supply is essential to how we live, work and play and it’s important to us that our community has opportunities to share their views. We're keen to understand what our community wants from the electricity network, now and for the future.
What is the Community Power Panel?
The Power Panel is a way for you to have a say on current power issues and the challenges and opportunities facing the industry and our network. The Power Panel
is a way for you to be part of the decision-making.
By joining the panel, you will receive invitations to complete short online surveys
throughout the year. By answering our surveys, you provide us with valuable
information to help us get ready for the future, and to plan and manage our network.
We know everyone is busy, and most surveys will take only 5-10 minutes to complete.
There’s no pressure to do anything, you can choose which surveys you want to take,
and you can opt out at any time.
We aim to send between 4 and 6 surveys per year. We’ll share the results with you to
show how you made a difference.
Why be part of the Panel?
Standing still in a changing world is not an option for us. We need to support the growth of our region, confront the climate emergency and respond to our customers' desire for more control over their energy choices. We want to ensure that our electricity network provides the services our community needs in this fast changing energy landscape.
Our community is diverse - we serve urban, rural and remote rural communities, and within these residential, business and rural customers. We are keen to hear from a wide cross-section of our community so we can understand their different needs.
Being part of the panel means you can be part of the conversation.
