Cable ducts are essentially large plastic pipes that we pull the power cable through. We install ducts where the ground water table is high or where the cable travels along a major road or intersection. Installing the cable in ducts is quicker than installing it in a trench in the road - reducing the impact on traffic. Three ducts are installed in each trench, one for each new cable.
